CASEBOOK COLLECTION
The West Academic Casebook Collection is a flexible school-wide offering designed to help ensure students have equal access to course materials right away. This offering provides your students with access to all of the West Academic Publishing and Foundation Press® materials adopted for their courses. Students at subscribing schools will receive downloadable eBooks of required materials along with the option to purchase low-cost spiralbound versions of their books. And, it includes a full subscription to West Academic Assessment, creating a package that not only works well in the physical classroom but is also ideal for helping your students stay engaged online.
West Academic Assessment is a comprehensive school-wide formative assessment offering designed to help schools comply with ABA Standards and identify at-risk students. West Academic Assessment includes:
- Over 5,000 multiple-choice formative self-assessment questions keyed to West Academic Publishing and Foundation Press casebooks, or available by subject to work with any casebooks your faculty already adopt
- Short answer and essay questions, with sample answers and commentary to allow students to self-assess their work
- A 1L Cumulative Assessment tool that allows your school to measure student learning and retention of first-year subjects
West Academic Assessment is designed for student self-assessment. All West Academic Assessment questions are customizable, allowing your faculty flexibility in tailoring assessments to their courses. Three options are available for your school.
1L Casebook Collection
This collection provides all of your 1L students with downloadable eBook versions of all West Academic Publishing and Foundation Press titles adopted for their courses along with the option to purchase low-cost spiralbound versions of the materials they prefer to access in print. With this option, your entire school has access to the formative assessments in West Academic Assessment.
Full School Casebook Collection
This collection provides all 1L and upper level students at your school with downloadable eBook versions of all Foundation Press and West Academic Publishing titles adopted for their courses, along with the option to purchase low-cost spiralbound versions of the materials they prefer to access in print. This option provides your entire school with access to the formative assessments in West Academic Assessment.
West Academic Assessment
This option provides all students at your school with West Academic Assessment, along with the ability for students to purchase downloadable ebooks adopted for their courses at a 45% discount off list print price. Students who opt to buy their materials in this format also receive the option to purchase low-cost spiralbound versions of the materials they prefer to access in print.
West Academic now offers Canvas integration, providing faculty and students simplified access to the multiple-choice quiz questions available in the Assessment platform. In just a few steps, faculty can assign a specific quiz within their course, allowing students to navigate directly to the content without ever leaving their LMS.
